FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Can we bring our own equipment?
A: Yes, You can bring your own equipment such as gun, mask, tank and hopper, everything excepts for paintballs.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Anything that you do not mind getting dirty such as old pants, dirty shoes etc. The paint will wash off fairly easy however there is the chance that some paint may leave stains. Also keep in mind that when you wear more layers you will not feel the paintball hit as easily.

Q: Do you have seating areas?
A: Yes, we have staging area with plenty of picnic tables for eating or setting up your equipment. There are also bleachers available for spectators.

Q: Can we bring our own food?
A: Yes, you may bring your own food or drinks. Catering is also available upon request.

Q: How are teams divided?
A: Teams are divided fairly by the referee at the field. Many players at Paintball Authority are returning customers and are noticed by the staff. The refs can distinguish which players have more experience.

Q: How many people can be on each team?
A: Infinite. The teams are split in half and placed on seperate ends of the playing field. If the number of players reaches high numbers such as 80 - 100 then there may be four teams.

Q: How do you distinguish teams?
A: The teams are split up onto opposite ends of the playing field. For scenario games where it is difficult to tell, the players will be distinguished by an arm band or ribbon place on their rist, mask, or hopper.

Q: Are rules and instructions given?
A: The staff at the playing facility will give a briefing usually before handing off the equipment at the beginning of the day or when your group arrives. These rules are also on our site in the Field Safety page.

Q:What if we run out of paint?
A: There is always extra paint brought to the field. Just see the field manager in the shed about buying extra paint when you run out.

Q: Does it hurt?
A: This is the most popular question in the popular industry. The answer is not really. The pain is determined by how close you are hit and the weather conditions. On a cold day it might feel a little worse to get hit. Usually a paintball will feel similar to being hit with a rubber band. You feel it when you get hit and then a few seconds of stinging but the pain does not last very long. Very seldom will a paintball break skin however it may leave a small paintball sized bruise!
